Tamarind-Date Chutney

Ingredients

  • Tamarind – 50 grams
  • Dates – 150 grams
  • Brown sugar – 100 grams
  • Jeera powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Red chilli powder – 2 tablespoons
  • Black salt – ½ tablespoon
  • Salt – To taste

Method

1. Boil dates, brown sugar and tamarind for 2 minutes.

2. Cool the mixture and grind.

3. Sift the juice.

4. Add red chilli powder, jeera powder, black salt and salt.

5. Mix well.
