Corn Vada

Ingredients

  • Cream of corn – 250 grams
  • Baking soda – 1 pinch
  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Green chilli paste – 2 teaspoons
  • Butter milk – 2 cups
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Oil – For frying
  • Salt – To taste

Method

1. Mix the cream of corn and the buttermilk.

2. Add green chilli paste, turmeric powder, soda, sugar and salt.

3. Prepare a dough.

4. Keep it aside for 5–6 hours.

5. Take oil in a kadhai.

6. Apply some warm oil to the palms.

7. Make the small thick puris with hands.

8. Fry them in the warm oil on medium heat.

9. Serve warm.
