Potato Halwa

Ingredients

  • Potato – ½ kg
  • Sugar – 250 grams
  • Ghee – 1 cup
  • Water – ½ cup
  • Crushed cardamom – ¼ teaspoon
  • Saffron (Optional)

Method

1. Boil the potatoes.

2. Peel and grate the boiled potatoes.

3. Add ghee in a wok and roast the potatoes till they are golden brown.

4. Add sugar, cardamom, saffron and some water to the roasted potatoes.

5. Add dry fruits to the mixture.

6. Serve hot.
