Peppermint Chutney

Ingredients

  • Mint leaves – 2 cups
  • Salt – ½ to ¾ teaspoon
  • Lemon – 1 OR Raw mango – 1 OR Dry pomegranate seeds – 2 to 3 teaspoons
  • Sugar – 2 teaspoons
  • Green chilli – 2 to 3

Method

1. Wash the mint leaves thoroughly.

2. Strain the excess water.

3. If you are using raw mango, peel off the raw mango and cut it into small pieces.

4. In a mixer blender, add the mint leaves, raw mango pieces (or lemon juice or pomegranate seeds), sugar, salt and green chilli.

5. Blend to a smooth paste.

6. Store in a glass jar and keep refrigerated.
