Garam Masala

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon – 50 grams
  • Cumin seeds – 20 grams
  • Cloves – 50 grams
  • Black pepper – 50 grams
  • Green cardamom – 20 grams
  • Black cardamom – 30 grams
  • Nutmeg – ½
  • Mace – 3 to 4 strands
  • Bayleaf – 10 grams

Method

1. Cover all the spices with muslin and sundry (or microwave them for 30 seconds).

2. Grind all the spices to a fine powder.

3. Store the mixture in an airtight container.
