Stuffed Kulcha

Ingredients

  • Homemade paneer – 100 grams
  • Capsicum – 1
  • Onion – 1
  • Tomato – 2
  • Green chilli – 1 or red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Kasoori methi – 2 teaspoons
  • Garam masala – ¼ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons or mango powder – ½ teaspoon
  • Oil – 2 to 3 teaspoons
  • Sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Kulcha – 3 to 4
  • Butter as needed
  • Salt to taste

Method

1. Chop onion, tomato and capsicum in small pieces.

2. Cut paneer in small pieces.

3. Chop green chilli and crush kasoori methi.

4. Now take oil in the wok and add onion to it. Sauté till golden brown.

5. Add tomato and sauté for 4 minutes.

6. Add capsicum, salt and kasoori methi to the mixture.

7. Cook capsicum until it is tender yet crunchy.

8. Add paneer and sugar to the mixture.

9. Cook for 2 more minutes and switch off the flame.

10. Add garam masala and lemon juice (or dry mango powder).

11. Mix well.

12. Take a kulcha.

13. Cut it into two parts.

14. Place the paneer mixture on one part and place the second part of the kulcha on it.

15. Apply butter on both sides of kulcha.

16. Stuff all the kulchas like this.

17. Cook on the griddle and serve hot.
