Decor Parties/Bird’s Nest

Ingredients

  • Potato – 400 grams
  • Carrots – 100 grams
  • Peas – 100 grams
  • Paneer – 100 grams
  • Vermicelli – 100 grams
  • Lemon – 1
  • Coriander leaves
  • Refined flour for coating
  • Salt and paper to taste

Method

1. Boil the potatoes.

2. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.

3. Grate the carrots and boil the peas.

4. Add the grated carrots and boiled peas to mashed potatoes.

5. Add lemon, coriander leaves and some paneer to the mixture.

6. Add salt and pepper to taste.

7. Make a thick mixture of water and refined flour for coating.

8. Make flattened balls out of potato mixture.

9. Break the vermicelli in 1-inch pieces and spread them on a plate.

10. Take oil in a wok for frying.

11. Take a ball of potato, coat it with refined flour and roll it on vermicelli.

12. Deep fry on medium flame.

13. Makes very small roundals of the leftover paneer.

14. Cut the patties horizontally from the centre such that both parts are attached to each other from one side.

15. Put 2 to 3 rounders of paneer and 1 or 2 drops of sauce in the centre.

16. Serve hot.
