Onion Matthi

Ingredients

  • Refined flour – 1 cup
  • Semolina – ½ cup
  • Onion – 4
  • Grren chilli – 4
  • Coriander leaves – 3 tablespoons
  • Carom seeds – ½ teaspoon
  • Ghee – For frying
  • Ghee to add in dough – ¼ cup
  • Baking soda – A pinch
  • Salt to taste

Method

1. Sieve refined flour, semolina and baking soda.

2. Add salt to the mixture.

3. Cut onion, green chilli and coriander leaves in very small pieces.

4. Add this mixture to the flour mixture.

5. Add ghee (¼ cup).

6. Knead the dough.

7. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

8. Now make small balls of dough.

9. Roll them.

10. Fry in oil or ghee on low flame.

11. Serve hot.
