Ingredients
- Special pav bhaji buns
- Pav-bhaji masala – 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
- Butter – 2 tablespoons
- A few coriander leaves
- For Bhaji:
- Ricotta cheese – 100 grams
- Boiled corn – 200 grams
- Tomatoes – 500 grams
- Green chillies – 2
- Pav-bhaji masala – 2½ teaspoons
- Fenugreek (methi) – ½ cup
- Red chilli powder – 2 teaspoons
- Butter – 4 teaspoons
- Bell pepper – 1
- Salt – To taste
- Lemon juice
Method
Pav:
1. Cut the bread into 1- to 2-inch thick pieces.
2. Roast them with coriander leaves, lemon juice, pav-bhaji masala and a little oil.
Bhaji:
3. Stir fry the chopped bell peppers for 2 minutes.
4. Add pav-bhaji masala, tomato puree, red chilli powder, lemon juice and salt.
5. Mix well for 2 minutes.
6. Add fenugreek and boiled corn.
7. Stir well.
8. Add ricotta cheese.
9. Serve with the pav on the side.
